Ibiza Nightlife Tourism Marketing Plan Neglects Sector
The Ibiza Nightlife industry entrepreneurs of Ibiza are speaking out against what they consider to be a slight by the Consell Insular, after unveiling a new tourism marketing plan based on sustainability and off-season tourism that does not include their sector. According to reports from Diario de Ibiza, José Luis Benítez, the president of the Ocio de Ibiza association, pointed out that “some indication should have been given about the nightlife sector” during the presentation.
Ibiza Has the Best Leisure Options in the World
Benítez emphasized that “Ibiza is much more than just nightlife, but it is fortunate to have the best in the world.” As a result, the association president highlighted the off-season benefits of the clubbing industry, which continues to draw tourists when winter discourages travelers from visiting Ibiza’s beaches.
Benítez Stands up for the Nightlife Industry
“Last year, we took a risk and opened almost 20 days earlier than usual, and we had the best season in history. I believe that we had something to do with this,” Benítez asserted.
