Binter Launches Direct Flights from Canarias to Ibiza
Binter, a popular Canarian airline, recently kicked off its new weekly route, enabling direct flights from the Canarias to Ibiza. This route took off from Gran Canaria, promising a travel time of approximately three hours and ten minutes.
The airline disclosed its plans of operating this route all through July and August, providing the residents an easier way to explore the famed ‘white isle’. Moreover, the residents get to enjoy a 75% discount on the flights, along with free access to connecting flights from other islands.
This move implies that Binter is now offering direct flights from Canarias to all three Balearic Islands – Majorca, Menorca, and Ibiza, for this summer season.
First Flight Experience
The first-ever flight on this route departed from Gran Canaria Airport at 10:45 pm, touching down in Ibiza at 2:55 am local time. Post a brief halt, the flight took off again at 3:40 am, finally reaching Las Palmas Airport at 6:15 am.
For the inaugural flight, the airline went the extra mile with a special service. This included handing out shots of honey rum, cream, and cinnamon to the passengers. Additionally, passengers received miniature bottles of 7-year-old Ron Arehucas, Boho Chic key chains, and LED bracelets as gifts.
