Amnesia Ibiza Closing Festival: Proof Authentic Clubbing Lives On
Amnesia Ibiza’s Closing Festival last weekend was a resounding success, proving that authentic clubbing is still very much alive. Over two nights and a morning, more than 32 international artists came together to bid farewell to the season in an unprecedented event.
A Testament to True Clubbing
What is the biggest challenge for a club? For Amnesia Ibiza, with nearly half a century of history, it’s staying true to its roots while continually pushing forward. The Amnesia Ibiza Closing Festival demonstrated once again that the essence and synergy of authentic clubbing are thriving.
Day 1: Friday
On Friday, despite expectations of a quieter night, the crowd began forming queues from the moment doors opened at 10 pm. The predominant British accents echoed excitement as clubbers snapped photos with event wristbands and T-shirts.
Day 2: Saturday
Saturday saw a sold-out crowd, with tickets selling out two weeks in advance. Fans lined up as early as 9 pm, proudly wearing event T-shirts as their attire for the night and morning. The Terrace kicked off with back-to-back sets from Argentine DJs Manu Desrets and Londonground, marking their first closing performance on the island.
Unforgettable Performances
As the night progressed, the energy escalated with sets from Sidney Charles and Caal, followed by Cuartero and Manda Moor. Rossi took over from 3 am to 5 am, elevating the beats for the morning ahead. The duo of Adam Beyer and Marco Faraone then delivered a powerful techno set, taking the Terrace to new heights.
A Sunrise to Remember
At 7 am, as new clubbers joined with ‘Wake up & Dance’ tickets, East End Dubs and Mar-T provided the perfect musical mood to welcome the sunrise—a cherished moment on the Terrace of Amnesia Ibiza. The festival paid tribute to the late Scottish DJ Jackmaster, adding an emotional layer to the morning.

The Amnesia Ibiza Closing Festival was more than just an event; it was a celebration of the enduring spirit of clubbing culture. By uniting renowned artists and passionate fans, Amnesia Ibiza once again proved that authentic clubbing not only survives but thrives.
