Active Police Operation Dismantles Criminal Group in Sant Antoni
The Civil Guard has actively rooted out a criminal group in Sant Antoni, notorious for robbery and dealing illicit substances like MDMA, cocaine, cannabis, 2cb, crystal, and hashish. This operation led to the seizure of significant amounts of cash, narcotics, and valuable items.
The Groundbreaking Arrest
The Civil Guard in Sant Antoni took into custody three Senegalese men, aged 29, 35, and 37. They face charges of crimes against public health and for being integral parts of the criminal group in Sant Antoni. The news comes after a statement from the enforcement body.
This action took place after initiating an investigation in the ‘West-End’ region of the town. The focus was to prevent the sale of drugs on public roads.
Investigators spotted several individuals of the same nationality coordinating for drug sales in the specified region. These individuals used a nearby location for collecting the substances prior to the sale.
The focus of the investigation then shifted towards locating the said house. During the investigation, law enforcement issued numerous administrative records related to possession. This is due to the individuals avoiding carrying large amounts of substances to evade arrest.
On the 29th, the Civil Guard executed a search warrant on a house located near the recreational area. They found six men of Senegalese nationality inside the house, arresting three of them.
A Massive Haul of Seized Items
Inside the house, the law enforcement found a haul worth 16,200 euros in cash. They also found 1,500 MDMA pills, 200 grams of cocaine, 675 grams of marijuana, along with various amounts of 2cb, crystal, and hashish. Most of these substances were already packed in self-sealing bags, ready for sale.
Furthermore, law enforcement seized 41 high-end mobile phones and a luxury watch. The Civil Guard is currently working to locate the original owners of these items.
